Why Klein KNECT Is Cool:

Since the first Klein KNECT items were released a couple of years ago, they have made big strides in expanding the product line to include new solutions and have recently revamped some of the original sets. The latest sets feature more color-coded markings on sockets for easy identification, and the modular design of the hand tools pairs well with the MODbox philosophy of customizing your items to your exact use case.

I am also a big fan of the ratcheting hand tools in the KNECT family- the stubby ratchet is ergonomic and has a lot of teeth with little backdrag. The Larger KNECT Ratcheting handle is similar. The Black ratchets have a nice sturdy feel and are easy to clean, but I hope they come out with a “comfort-grip” Ratchet with a similar styling to iconic Klein Tools Screwdrivers.

Knect is a somewhat proprietary system(it’s just a 1/2 or 5/8 12-point socket with a retaining ring), but they make backwards compatibility very easy with the abundance of adapters found in kits, or that can be purchased separately. If you want to use some of these socket sets with your IMPACT WRENCHES, I HIGHLY recommend getting this Adapter Kit!

Klein is also one of the top players in the “Flip Socket” market, and many KNECT sets include flip sockets, and KNECT tools can integrate with flip sockets easily with the adapters shown in the pictures below-
